John Lott, author of More Guns, Less Crime, joined Tara Servatius on her radio show yesterday to talk about guns, crime, and the false promise of gun bans. Excerpt below:
Lott: [0:44] “If you are talking to somebody who really supports gun control, the one question I think you should think of asking them is ‘name one place in the world where we’ve had a gun ban and murder rates have gone down, or even one place in the world where we’ve had a gun ban and murder rates have even stayed the same,’ because every place I can find where we have crime data … you see a gun ban, and murder rates go up. … four, five, seven fold increases ….”

What I think is hilarious is that when you visit the WBT studios in Charlotte is that they have a big sticker on the right side of the main entrance that says ” No Guns Allowed “. WBT tries to play themselves off as a Patriotic Pro-Constitution station. Its all window dressing. They are there to make money off a certain demographic.
