Liberal activist Luke Montgomery has created a $20,000 ultra-violent spectacle featuring …. I’ll let him describe it:
RepublicanZombieDefense.com, a humor-tinged Democrat activist website today released an ultra-violent “Get Out the Vote” ad on the heels of Halloween portraying Romney supporters as brain-dead zombies. The comically bloody and graphic video is set on the White House lawn and features Obama supporters beheading, exploding, and maiming politically conservative zombies with machine guns, grenades, garden shears, and chainsaws.
Commentaries of defending same-sex marriage and Obamacare are punctuated with geysers of blood, dismemberment, and explosions as Democratic activists are shown defending President Obama’s White House from Republican presidential zombie voters.
“The metaphor of Republicans as zombies is unfortunately very appropriate,” said Luke Montgomery, director of the RepublicanZombieDefense.com video. “Their heartless opposition to health care, gay marriage, and climate change science is a political infection that if not fought back, will be deadly to the lives of millions of Americans.
I am, unfortunately, reminded of another ultra-violent ad created for a liberal cause: 10:10’s “No Pressure.” The creators of that ad thought it was humorous to fantasize about blowing up “climate deniers.” The ad was ultimately pulled less than 24 hours after its release as the general public did not appreciate the environmentalists’ concept of comedy.
Sarah Palin and the Tea Party were excoriated for their non-existent role in Gabrielle Giffords’ shooting—Palin because she dared to put “crosshairs” on a graphic targeted districts for upcoming elections. In the wake of that tragedy, the President demanded a “New Tone” (though he has never held his political allies accountable to the standard he supposedly established). After four years of watching the media instinctively blame conservatives for acts of violence while ignoring real violence perpetrated by Occupy Wall Street, the SEIU, and others, I won’t hold my breath for the media to condemn this video.
